During the curriculum development sessions, teachers will have a chance to network and exchange ideas with each other and the speakers. In addition, the UC Berkeley History and Social Studies Project team will be available to help teachers develop curriculum material based on the topics presented in this Workshop.
Lunch time may include informal presentations, special activities, and/or networking opportunities with fellow teachers and the speakers.

If you select to receive the CEU credit, the 1990 Institute will pay this fee to SFSU directly for you out of your stipend, after you have completing all the Workshop requirements (same as for receiving the stipend). Information on how to register for the CEU credit will be available several weeks before the Workshop.
Meals and Refreshments
Free continental breakfast and lunch will be served each day. During lunch, teachers will have the rare opportunity to network with speakers and fellow teachers. For those that prefer to bring their own lunch, the facility has a lunch room with refrigerators, microwaves, and other supplies.
